Old Age Home
The migration from traditional joint family to modern nuclear family in society at large has necessitated the emergence of Old Age Homes (OAH). The comfort of younger members of an extended family taking care of even the smallest need of an elderly person has fast eroded and the pain of being left to lead a forlorn journey in the twilight of family has become inevitable to many senior citizens.
Centrum Foundation has endeavored to do its part in participating in the construction of an Old Age Home, in a serene location in Kanhe in Pune District It has a capacity of housing 25-30 old people with all facilities. The Foundation is also taking part in the renovation work of Sant Baba Moni Saheb Vriddha Anand Ashram, Akurdi in Pimpri-Chinchwad, with capacity to house 80 old people and provision of each and every requirement of the inmates including food and medical care.
